The television man and producer is preparing to relaunch the emblematic TF1 program. For the occasion, he was invited onto the set of “Quotidien”, transformed for a few minutes into a copy of the general knowledge game show.

The iconic game, historically presented by Jean-Pierre Foucault returns to TF1 to celebrate its 25th anniversary. And in more than two decades, almost nothing has changed. Except for its presenter. This Friday, September 20, the host of the Miss competition gives up his place to a great television man: Arthur For the occasion, the latter was the guest of Yann Barthès in his talk show “Quotidien” broadcast on TMC.

And while the first part of his speech was devoted to his commitment against the attacks of October 7 in Israel, the second was much lighter. Arthur listed the qualities needed to present the program, starting with “sadism” he says ironically. “You have to make people believe that you know the answer and that the person in front of you doesn’t have the right answer. I don’t have the answers.”admits the presenter and producer. And continues by providing elements of understanding: “The problem is, I’m too nice. […] They don’t give me the answers and that’s a good thing because since it’s for the associations, I would spend my time making big, heavy winks.”

Yann Barthès then tries out the codes of the show. Lights dimmed, stressful music, convoluted questions and a phone call to a friend. Arthur does not fail to give his colleague some well-chosen advice in turn. “The killer thing. When the guy is super sure of his answer and you do “Are you sure?”.» The first question goes to actress Suzanne de Baecque, also invited on the set. Then, it’s Arthur’s turn to dry up in the face of the four answers proposed following his question: “Who composed the show’s famous stressful music?”

We should talk one day.”

He then decides to call on a friend in the person of Alex Vizorek, who, by the greatest of coincidences, answers immediately. “I’m glad to hear from you. I’m switching channels because I was on CNews.”says the comedian, provoking bursts of laughter from the audience of “Quotidien”. By principle of alternation, Yann Barthès submits a second question to Suzanne de Baecque who, this time, also calls on a friend. It is the actress Rebecca Marder. The latter feigns surprise when Yann Barthès announces to her that he is in the company of her best friend. “Don’t act like you didn’t know, you knew very well we were going to call you.”the presenter says, deadpan. “But you are ruining the magic of television, Yann.”Arthur, a spectator of this game, is indignant with second degree.

The whole sequence remains full of humor since Yann Barthès whispers the right answers. “Do you understand why I am not being given the answers?”Arthur points out. Note immediately agreed. “But you have a real knack for game animation. We should talk sometime.”Arthur says flatteringly to Yann.
