A free festival in the streets of Granville

Like the Granville carnival, its “little brother” takes place in the street.

If tradition dictates that street performances are paid only by the hat, Sorties de bain insisted on paying half of the 34 companies which will perform before the amazed eyes of young and old alike.

For four days, more than 96 performances will take place in the seaside resort and its “neighboring streets”: Saint-Pair-sur-Mer (Tuesday July 2, Cartable, from the company Allez Là), Donville-les-Bains (Sunday June 30, Will and Walt, by Preneurs de tête), Coudeville-sur-Mer (Tuesday July 2, Fa, by Amoukanama), and Yquelon (Wednesday July 3, Vieille escape, by Tof Théâtre).

The Olympics, approached with humor

You will notice through the program, this edition will have as its theme an unmissable event, which will take place in Paris this summer: the Olympic Games.

But in Granville, the Olympics will be approached with art and humor. We are thinking in particular of the “Drôlympic Games”, which will aim to bring together companies, troops, volunteers and festival-goers, around events which will require very little training, but a lot of self-deprecationas the featherweight throwTHE bedside table tennis, or again, thehorizontal climbing…. Enough to spend good times with friends or family!
