Singer Stromae took to social media to announce a nice surprise to his fans, after his long absence and the abrupt interruption of his tour last May 2023.
The singer Stromae, who became known to the general public with his album Racine Carrée (2013) and the hit Alors on danse, had to end his last concert tour in May 2023, taking his audience by surprise who were expecting to see him on stage: “I have to resign myself to the fact that my health unfortunately does not allow me to continue to come and meet you for the moment.”

Mental health is a very present theme in the lyrics of the 39-year-old singer, who is often confronted with dark thoughts and depression, as he recently confided on the set of the TF1 news, while singing his song, L’Enfer. The lyrics highlight this malaise that has eaten away at him: “I have sometimes had suicidal thoughts and I am not very proud of them. We sometimes believe that it is the only way to silence them. These thoughts that make our lives hell…”
Since then, the singer had moved away from the networks, but on Tuesday, September 10, Stromae gave his subscribers an update via his Instagram account. He thanks his audience for supporting him after the end of the tour: “Your kindness and empathy, following the cancellation of the end of the tour, have touched me enormously.” The artist adds that he is preparing a nice surprise….
