Invited to BFMTV this Tuesday evening, Rachel, the mother of the 3-year-old student hit by her teacher in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, spoke about her daughter’s state of health.

Nearly a week after the violence suffered by a 3-year-old student in a school in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, Rachel, a mother, guest on BFMTV this Tuesday, September 10, indicated that her daughter “was not doing well at all.”

“She’s really not well at all. She cries all the time. She throws things on the floor, she doesn’t want to play with her brothers,” she added.

“I was shocked after seeing the video”

That day, Wednesday, September 4, the scene was filmed by a student’s mother present in the class. The next day, the latter found Rachel, the young girl’s mother, in front of the school gates.

“I received the video on Thursday. I didn’t speak with the teacher. I went out to get the headmistress and then I went straight to the police station,” the mother, who filed a complaint with the student’s father, explained to BFMTV.

When she saw the video, the mother was “shocked”. “I would never have imagined this from the teacher,” she added.

Her daughter, a few hours after the incident, complained of pain. “My daughter spoke to me the same day saying ‘my back is red, the teacher hit me'”, Rachel grits. The two days after, “she was crying saying she didn’t want to go to school”. Today, according to her mother, the little girl “doesn’t trust people, she had a big tantrum. She’s stuck to me.”

Teacher ‘deeply regrets’

For her part, the teacher, who was suspended as a precautionary measure, “deeply regrets her actions”, BFMTV learned from her lawyer. She is also “in a state of shock”, her counsel added.

Following the parents’ complaint filed in Issy-les-Moulineaux in Hauts-de-Seine, the Nanterre public prosecutor’s office opened a preliminary investigation. However, it is expected to relinquish jurisdiction in favor of the Paris public prosecutor’s office, where the events occurred.

The teacher, who has been teaching at the school for about ten years, was received by the school principal on Friday, September 6, and then by the school inspector. She subsequently acknowledged the facts and apologized to the family.
