What happens to VCHA?
VCHA is the international girl group created by JYP Entertainment. The group officially debuted in January 2024 following the selection of members through JYP’s survival.
Initially very active, the group was really very present on social networks. The X/Twitter or Instagram accounts were updated very frequently, and the YouTube channel was also full of content.
Then, in early June, everything suddenly stopped. From one day to the next, JYP Entertainment stopped all communication around the group.
On Instagram, for example, the last real post was on June 8. Since that date, only three posts have been published: birthday posts for three members, and no response to questions from fans, who keep asking JYP for news about the group in the comments… with no response from the agency.
Same thing on YouTube where no video has been posted since April 4th. Before that date, the group published several videos per month, but it has been almost five months since any video has been posted. The most recent content on YouTube is a short video dating from… June 4th, the same period when the Instagram account also stopped all updates.
Also of note, VCHA was scheduled to perform at this year’s Lollapalooza festival, which took place in early August.
But shortly before the festival, JYP Entertainment released a notice to announce that the girls’ performance was canceled and that they would not be participating in the festival. For fans, this seems to confirm that something is going on behind the scenes but that we are not being informed.
Fans are therefore asking serious questions and even worrying about the members. For now, JYP remains silent on this disappearance.
