The United States is once again in mourning after a school shooting. This Wednesday, at least four people were killed and nine injured after shootings in a high school in the state of Georgia. What happened? Who were the victims? The suspect? 20 Minutes gives you an update on this new drama.

What happened?

An assailant opened fire at Apalachee High School in the town of Winder, about 45 miles northeast of Atlanta, around 10 a.m. Wednesday. At least four people were killed, and nine others were injured and sent to the hospital. About 30 people were reportedly injured, but authorities have not yet said whether all of them were hit by bullets; some victims may have been injured while fleeing the shooter. Multiple emergency vehicles and a large police force were dispatched to the scene. The school was initially placed on lockdown, according to Fox 5 Atlanta. The injured were being treated on site by emergency workers, the network said, based on images taken from a helicopter.
