As of this Friday, January 17, wearing a mask becomes obligatory at the Bastia hospital center.
In a short press release published on Facebook and on X, the health establishment justifies this measure: “FDue to the high circulation of respiratory infections, wearing a mask becomes obligatory […] for all professionals in contact with patients, for patients as soon as they enter the building or as soon as they leave their room, and for visitors as soon as they enter the building.”
An obligation which must remain in force until the end of the flu and bronchiolitis epidemics which have hit all of France since the start of the year. “These measures aim to protect hospital staff, as well as fragile people and people at high risk of serious forms.we can read in the press release from the Bastia hospital. For everyone’s safety, let’s respect barrier gestures.”
-For its part, the regional health agency (ARS) also recalled the importance of adopting the right actions to limit the spread of these infections and protect oneself.
