Since January 8, pharmacists can offer eSupportive interviews for patients on level 2 opioid analgesics : tramadol, codeine, dihydrocodeine, opium powder. These interviews are offered at the first renewal of a prescription, that is to say at the second delivery during the twelve months following the first delivery. During the interview, the pharmacist notably assesses the risk of dependence using the POMI test (Prescription Opioid Misuse Index) in five questions. A score of 2 or more suggests a risk of misuse.
