Call for projects
The “Immunology and pediatric cancers” call for projects is open to all disciplines, without exception, and aims to support particularly innovative projects in pediatric immuno-oncology. The projects submitted may be fundamental or translational research projects. Each project can be carried out by a single or several teams, if collaboration is necessary. Teams usually carrying out research in the field of adult immuno-oncology are strongly invited to apply for this call for projects.
The proposed projects could, for example (non-exhaustive list), focus on:
-- analysis of the influence of the immune system on the development of tumors (e.g. relationships between tumor types and level of maturity of immunity);
- the study of tumor-microenvironment interactions (understanding how tumor cells interact with non-malignant cells in the microenvironment and dissecting the mechanisms of interactions between tumors and immune cells);
- the study of tumor immunogenicity and response or resistance to treatments;
- the search and identification of new immunotherapeutic targets;
- the development of very innovative immunotherapy approaches (proof of concept stage);
- analysis of the evolution of the immune system as a function of age and the differences between the immune systems of children affected by cancer compared to unaffected children;
- etc.
Calendar
- The deadline for submission of applications is September 11, 2024 – 4:00 p.m.
- Access to submission from July 8, 2024
