In the Alpes-Maritimes, pharmacists are sounding the alarm. In a press release sent to the press, the Union of Community Pharmacists emphasizes the importance of maintaining the health measures developed during Covid-19.

They warn in particular of the potential risks of disengagement in the face of current epidemic threats. The department, which has 1.1 million inhabitants and a strong tourist attraction, requires, according to them, increased health vigilance.

Professionals expressly request the maintenance of the articles of the decree of 1is June 2021 concerning the fight against Covid-19. They are calling in particular for free masks for infected people and those around them, in order to limit the viral spread.

Speaking to France 3 Côte d’Azur, Philippe Delaye, co-president of the union in the Alpes-Maritimes, warns of a repeal of the measures in this decree.

“It is not possible to completely repeal these measures. (…) Everything you experienced during the health crisis – free delivery of masks, free tests in pharmacies – will be repealed. It is incomprehensible .”
