Received ideas about the needs of elderly people or behaviors regarding food were discussed during workshops. A source of pleasure, health and well-being, food is central in our lives. The caregivers present discussed, all agreed on the fact that a balanced diet contributes to maintaining good health. Meals are a moment of sharing and a way to maintain social connections with family and friends
. Everyone left with savory and sweet recipes that were easy to put into practice.
A workshop on December 6
To go further on the subject, a cooking workshop is planned for Friday December 6, from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., still in the Plessis-Curé room in Liré. The “Les Insatiables” association offers a cooking workshop, upon registration, for caregivers and their loved ones who are losing their autonomy. On the program: a discovery of several tips to make everyday life easier in the kitchen, a practical workshop with cooking and nutrition professionals and a tasting.
