Throughout the month of October, several actions were carried out by the Mosaïque des Partages team and its volunteers aimed at raising awareness among Fonsorbaises and Fonsorbais about the prevention of breast cancer and also to collect donations as part of of Operation Pink October. Activities took place on the sidelines of the open-air market in the morning and afternoon on the Bidot site. In the end, the Mosaïque des Partages raised the sum of 2,780 euros.
The beneficiaries: ISGT and Candirathon
Friday, November 8, two associations, the Breast Institute of Grand-Toulouse (ISGT) and Candirathon, were invited to receive checks representing the hands of Françoise Siméon, mayor of the city.
The first check, in the amount of 2,224 euros, was given to the ISGT. As a reminder, this association brings together professionals and liberal health actors, specialized in cancer pathology. It proposes to ensure continuity of skills for the rapid and concerted implementation of diagnostic and therapeutic strategies adapted to the needs of each patient.
The second check, worth 556 euros, was given to the Fonsorbaise association, Candrathon, whose mission is to raise funds for research against cancer and diabetes.
During this moment of conviviality at the Mosaïque des Partages, which brought together partners and volunteers, Françoise Siméon listed all the actions carried out in Fonsorbes during the month of October and warmly thanked all the actors who contributed once again to the success of this mobilization for the noble cause.
