“I preferred to give locally rather than nationally”: in , a hostel is organizing its charity evening for Movember

This Friday, November 15, at the Convent, a charity evening is taking place on the occasion of Movember, the event to raise funds for research into male diseases such as prostate or testicular cancer.

“The evening will be structured around several highlights.” From 7 p.m. and until 1 a.m. the next day, Friday November 15, the Le Couvent hostel in is organizing a charity event, entitled “Take care of your kiwis”, on the occasion of Movember, which helps raise funds intended for research against male diseases such as testicular or prostate cancer.

In the case of the local establishment, the choice of donations turned to the association of Urologists of the Montreal clinic. “I preferred to give locally rather than nationally”specified Maxime Camus, manager of the hostel and organizer of the evening. The total amount collected should allow the acquisition of a device ensuring directed and controlled biopsy of the prostate.

The latter sees different organizations participating. Starting with three barber hairdressers from the prefectural city who will be responsible for trimming the participants’ mustaches in exchange for an amount of their choice.

The Aubert and Mathieu vineyard will also be there. “For each bottle purchased, €2 will be directly donated to the prize pool”underlined the person in charge of the Convent. Finally, a raffle organized by the Round Table will create suspense during the evening with a draw, the times of which have not yet been communicated. Everything will be hosted by a disc jockey.
