In the event that the target amount is not reached, Mo-Vèir volunteers have several emergency solutions. Namely, among other things, asking companies that have the desired items to donate one or two copies. “Generally, they play the game as soon as we explain to them the charitable action that we have put in place”indicates Wilfried Mourier.
If everyone is invited to go there on the big day, the organization can also count on support. In this case the Hand-ball Club Carcassonnais (HBCC), the Lunetier showroom, a local optician, as well as Axa insurance which all represent major financiers of the club. As a result, the gym will be able to count on the presence of representatives of the USC, the FAC (Football Agglomération Carcassonne) or even the boxing club. “CTM sailors (navy transmission center, Editor’s note) and members of the national police will also be present to offer us their support”rejoices the president of Mo-Vèir. To include as many people as possible, various stands will be accessible to the public. “Last year for example, the ages of participants ranged from 3 to 90 years old”concludes Wilfried Mourier.
