If, since the pandemic, vaccination intentions have generally increased, several people at risk are still reluctant, reveals the CoviPrev survey by Public Health France.
While the vaccination campaign has just started to prevent the return of respiratory viruses this winter, French people’s adherence to preventive measures against Covid-19 and the flu is still insufficient. According to the results of the latest CoviPrev survey, published on October 15 by Public Health France, only half of eligible respondents intend to be vaccinated this fall.
A participation rate which still promises to be far from the objectives set to forge sufficient immunity. « According to the objectives set by the WHO, 75 % of the population at risk uses vaccination », recalls Anne-Claude Crémieux, president of the technical committee on vaccinations of the HAS. « However, even if vaccination intentions have been higher since the pandemic, we are not there yet. »
