activities, awareness raising and walking on the program for Pink October solidarity day

The local Blasimon-Mauriac-Ruch entertainment point, in conjunction with the population of the region, the associative world and traders, is joining forces with professionals from the Multidisciplinary Health Center to organize a Pink October solidarity day in various places in the town of Blasimon, Saturday October 12. This operation aims to raise funds, which will be donated to the League for the fight against breast cancer. Throughout the day, the public will be able to participate in numerous and varied activities.

“Entry is free and open to all. A 5 euro pass will be requested from people wishing to participate in all these activities. It will be free for children under six years old. These passes will be sold on site, only registration for the Pink March is obligatory in order to manage security and logistics,” specifies Sarah Petit, the coordinator of the local activity point. This walk will leave from Place de la République at 10 a.m. to go down towards the departmental leisure area.

Autopalpation, massage…

At the same time, various workshops and activities will take place throughout the day. Christian Bocage, from the local aeromodelling club, will introduce the children to the making of small models. Giant wooden games will be installed under the merchant seats. The hall of the local entertainment point will host creative workshops, makeup and temporary tattoos.

The HOA museum will house a reading corner. A musical nap will be offered at the museum as well as a relaxation massage discovery workshop. It will also be possible to ride donkeys in the municipal park. An awareness-raising and self-examination workshop, supervised by professionals, will take place in the intergenerational room.
