The emergence of a completely new type of drug called “pink cocaine” (also called “Pink Panther”, “Pink C” or “Chinese coke”) raises many concerns. It poses a particular problem compared to other products, not so much because of its color or its means of administration (inhalation or injection), but rather because of its nature. Contrary to what the name suggests, it is not cocaine, but a mixture of drugs such as ketamine, MDMA (or ecstasy), hallucinogenic substances, opiates, medication, plus caffeine and aromas.
