Pink October at the Parc des Colombiers with Pierre Vaultier

Pink October is coming to the Parc des Colombiers and the library for a day open to all, Saturday October 12. On the program at Parc des Colombiers: contests and demonstrations at the pump track, DJ set, graffiti and live music will rub shoulders with women’s yoga and qi gong workshops, with a moment on health prevention and a meeting with an author.

This event will take place with the participation of Pierre Vaultier, double Olympic snowboardcross champion, in partnership with the League Against Cancer.

All day long, an info/health point will be hosted by the president of the League Against Cancer, a professional doctor, who will answer questions about breast cancer.

– From 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Zen morning dedicated to all women. Through women’s yoga and qi gong workshops, teachers Rachel Bourg and Sonia Rayssiguier will invite people to take care of each person and stimulate their vitality. Free initiation, outdoors or at the leisure center, depending on the weather. Limited places, registration recommended at 04 92 24 29 36.

– From 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.: meal at the restaurant The little lake to the sound of Zikture’s live concert.

– From 2 to 5 p.m.: urban sliding and street art, on the pump track, between two champion demonstrations, time for amateur BMX and skate contests, solo or in family relays. Timed runs will be rewarded with prizes (free registration on site). With DJ Milkwater on the decks, artist Zikture for a live graffiti performance and Élodie making cotton candy offered by the town.

– At the Saint-Chaffrey library: from 4 to 7 p.m. book signing meeting with Annie Borgia. The author will come to present her book Éléonore, the journey from Embrun to . Throughout the month of October, the library is mobilizing for Pink October: readers are invited to place pink ribbons or words of encouragement on a small tree of life and support for breast cancer patients.
