Take part in this 2km Nordic walk with seniors near Orléans

Since the 1st until October 17, 2024several activities are organized in Orléans and its metropolis (Loiret) as part of the Blue Week.

This national event aims to promote the place of seniors in the social fabric and to highlight the importance of links between generations. And what could be better than entertainment and sport to feel close to your ancestors!

On the program:

• Tuesday October 8, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Unisson performance hall in Saint-Jean-de-la-Ruelle – Entertainment, information, prevention stands, conferences and sports workshops.
  
• Wednesday October 9, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Saint-Jean-de-Braye – Lively sensory walk et workshops on biodiversity, herbaria or even the waste awareness / Departure behind the castle.
  
• Wednesday October 9, 2024 at 2 p.m. in Ingré – Intergenerational Nordic walking framed by 2km, around the Bel Air park with the children of the municipal sports school. Animations et stands on return / Departure from the Coudraye Gymnasium.

• Tuesday October 15, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saint Pryvé-Saint Mesmin & Olivet – Sports walks accompanied by sports instructors around the Saint Pryvé-Saint Mesmin lake. Two routes of 2.5 km and 5.5 km will be offered, imagined and supervised by members of the USMO hiking association. Relaxation, information and health prevention stands also available.
• Tuesday October 15, 2024 at 2:30 p.m., Salle Montjoie in Saint-Denis-en-Val and Salle Fernand Pellicer in Orléans-la-Source – Conferences on the benefits of regular physical activity

• Wednesday October 16, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Fleury-les-Aubrais – Cultural and commented walks on the history of streets, houses, as well as changes, supervised by the Mémoires Fleuryssoises association, then tasting of local products / Departure from Place de la République, in front of the town hall.
• Thursday October 17, 2024 at 2:30 p.m., Jean Zay d’Ingré village hall – Broadcast of the film “The Lords” by Olivier Dahan (2012)
