Caving days

Like every year at this time, on the occasion of the National Caving Days, the Loiret departmental caving committee invites the general public to an original experience in the Orléans forest, in Chanteau, Saturday October 5. All the practical information can be found in our article.

Salon of Orléans Artists

Painting, engraving, sculpture, ceramics… 118 artists open their arms to you and exhibit at the Saint-Pierre-le-Puellier collegiate church in Orléans, from October 5 to 20. Welcome to the 117th unmissable Salon des Artistes Orléans. A focus on engraving is planned this year, with activities and demonstrations.

Perfume collectors

Chamerolles will be celebrating this weekend and should attract a number of perfume enthusiasts in all their forms to its Perfume Fair. The castle is planning dedicated activities, including challenges around the perfume organ, Saturday and Sunday. Collectors will also be able to admire and exchange pieces: bottles, perfume cards, miniatures…

Saturday October 5 and Sunday October 6, at the Château de Chamerolles, perfumery fair, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the large hall of the château. Entertainment at 11 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. The castle is open from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Prices: from 5 euros to 10 euros, free under 6 years old.

Salon O Cœur Book

Livre O Cœur, the Orléans literary and artistic festival, organized by the écilOire association, will be held all weekend in the beautiful greenhouse of the Jardin des Plantes, in Orléans. The opportunity to meet dozens of authors, illustrators, publishing houses but also some artists. Workshops for children (kamishibai) and adults are scheduled. A food truck will also be present.

Man and Animal Film Festival

From this Friday, then Saturday and Sunday, the Le Mélies cinema (3 rue Ernest-Gaugiran, in Lamotte-Beuvron) will host the 7th edition of the film festival on the theme “The meeting of man and animal” .

This Friday, October 4, the opening ceremony at 7 p.m. will be followed by the screening of the film Gilé, source of life the Xavier Gasselin.

Six films will be in competition this year, viewable for free.

The movie Bambi, the story of a life in the forest by Michel Fessler will be screened in preview, Saturday October 5 at 8:30 p.m. and Sunday October 6 at 3 p.m. (usual prices). The program can be found here.
