Aging in good health: a mobilization for retirees in Littoral

This Friday, October 4, as part of Blue Week, professionals from the Agde Littoral Territorial Health Community (CTS) gathered for a prevention day dedicated to retirees.

This moment, focused on well-being and health, allowed participants to benefit from free screenings for diabetes, high blood pressure and nutrition advice. The six essential functions for aging well were also at the heart of the discussions, in order to help seniors adopt the right reflexes for a healthy old age.

The CTS Agde Littoral, an association of liberal health professionals, has the mission of coordinating local care. By bringing together doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and other specialists, it works to improve the quality of care and facilitate access to it for everyone: adults, children, and more particularly fragile or vulnerable people. This health project is part of an active collaborative approach with local elected officials, municipalities, towns and various associations, while working in synergy with the health authorities (ARS, CPAM, MSA) and medico-social structures.

Covering a territory of ten municipalities, the CTS Agde Littoral aims to create a real local care network, with an emphasis on prevention. This awareness day is part of this objective, recalling the importance of prevention to guarantee healthy aging.

A clear message to encourage the population to take control of their health and adopt practices that promote long-term well-being.
