A 35 to 40 minute interview
In Charente, 15 professionals are currently listed on santé.fr to carry out these assessments, which take the form of a 35 to 40 minute interview. Eight independent nurses, six pharmacies and a general practitioner. Midwives can also carry out these assessments but none have yet registered on the reference site in Charente.
“I trained using video capsules, and we have an interview schedule available,” describes Christelle Bonneau, a liberal nurse in Angoulême, who has so far only carried out one, in June. last. “It’s a global point with a whole range of questions, particularly about our daily practices, exercising, etc. We then identify two or three target objectives and we carry out prevention on these points. It could be tobacco, screens, walking more, sex education… It varies depending on each person and age,” explains the nurse. “And of course this allows us, if we identify a problem, to refer the patient. In June, for example, I found a gynecologist for the patient. » But for the moment she has no requests.
As for pharmacies too, the system is still in its infancy. “We have had the CPAM documents since June but as we have not had any requests, I have not yet trained,” explains Margaux Mautret, pharmacist in Chazelles. And now with the flu and covid campaign coming up, the angina and cystitis tests that we are authorized to do, I won’t have time to look into it before early 2025.” Like several Charente health professionals, she doubts that the requests will flood in.
