The CAN Morocco 2025 finally in 9 stadiums!

On the eve of the draw for “its” CAN 2025 scheduled in less than a year, Morocco communicated the list of stadiums which will host the event. Not without setting a record!

While the draw will reveal this Monday in Rabat its first three opponents at the CAN 2025itself scheduled on its soil from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026, the Morocco officially unveiled its armada of stadiums for the event.

Nine stadiums, a historic first!

Initially six in number in six different cities, Rabat, Tangier, Agadir, Marrakech, Casablanca and Fez in particular, the number of arenas selected increased to nine for a historic first, as relayed by the Moroccan press, which can be rightly proud.

On arrival, three speakers from the Rabat capital were selected in addition. These are the Stade Moulay Hassan (12,000 seats), the Stade al Barid and the Stade du Fath Union Sport stadium, both capable of housing 15,000 spectators.

No more than one meeting on the same day on the same lawn

They are thus playing at the ultra-modern Complexe Moulay Abdellah, the largest stage in the capital, at the Grand stadium of Tangier, the Grand stadium of Agadir, the Grand stadium of Marrakech, the Mohammed V Complex in Casablanca and finally the Sports Complex of Fez.

The direct positive impact of this infrastructure deployment is that two consecutive matches will not be played on the same day on the same pitch. A first in the entire history of the CAN there too.

As a reminder, this CAN 2025 serves as a big rehearsal for the kingdom in preparation for the 2030 World Cup which it will co-organize jointly with Spain and Portugal.
