The international fraternity of electricity workers gave the national Canadian a 72 -hour strike notice. This ranging would start on Tuesday if no agreement is found.

This union represents approximately 750 employees of the signaling and communications department of this railway company.

Depending on the notice, if no agreement is concluded, the strike will be launched on Tuesday, January 28.

The CN said he was aware of the situation and intends to implement his emergency plan. The company says it wants to maintain the supply chain as a priority.

The union says that he received a 95 % strike mandate of its members. They demand a salary increase and a better balance between privacy and professional life.
