Eve Gilles has long wanted to participate in Dancing With The Stars… and her dream comes true this year as she joins the cast of the new season of the show, broadcast from February 7 on TF1, alongside Charlotte de Turckheim, Florent Manaudou, Julie Zenatti, Nelson Monfort and many more others. But is Miss France 2024 really excited about the idea of participating?

The beauty queen, only 21 years old, who gave up her scarf to Angélique Angarni-Filopon, did not take long before agreeing to join the competition. The former mathematics student, who intended to become a statistician, revealed in a video interview to Women’s Journal that she had been waiting for this opportunity for a long time: “There wasn’t much to motivate me. I’ve wanted to participate for a long time, but I wasn’t known, so it was a little complicated. Once I became Miss France, as soon as I could talk about Dancing With the Stars, I did, and obviously the message got across well“.

Passionate about dancing, the lovely brunette even gave lessons to little girls before becoming Miss France. “I have always loved dance and especially couple dance. My favorite movie is Dirty Dancing, so I think that says a lot“, she explained.
-Eve Gilles practiced modern jazz, but was never able to take ballroom dancing lessons, to her great regret: “Because I never had a dance partner. Is she stressed by the competition? Nay! “On the contrary, it doesn’t scare me because I tell myself that it’s a way of making myself known differently, of showing my personality, who I am. So, I can’t wait for the French to get to know me.” This time, she intends to be talked about for her dancing abilities and not just for her haircut.
