The peak expected for the end of January
Santé Publique France announces “still a significant impact” of the flu on mortality in France, and mentions hospital activity “still high”. The Minister of Health, Yannick Neuder indicates that the peak is expected at the end of January.
The Ministry invites vulnerable people, particularly people over 65, to be vaccinated. And for good reason, they represent 67% of hospitalizations after going to the emergency room for the flu or an influenza-like illness.
-Note that in the Loire, the Saint-Etienne University Hospital has lifted its blank plan and is returning to the “internal mobilization plan”, i.e. the lower level.
