In order to have a pleasant start to this new year, the municipal team organized an evening at the town’s multipurpose room on Friday January 10. Mrs. Sophie Lay, mayor, presented her best wishes to everyone, elected officials, municipal employees, representatives of cultural, sporting and mutual aid associations and volunteers. The emphasis was placed on the upcoming activities of the social service whose very motivated, very active members are always on the lookout for the needs of their fellow citizens.
Beyond tradition, the wishes represent a warm moment because everyone contributes greatly to the life of the municipality and everyone plays an important role which makes it possible to offer the inhabitants an ever more welcoming living environment and thus to appreciate the living well together in Saint-Geniès-Bellevue.
The evening continued with a pleasant meal and the entertainment of a musical group which made the audience dance to rhythmic music.
A perfectly successful moment of sharing in a festive and friendly atmosphere.
