While emergencies report a worrying saturation, this system aims to reduce pressure on the hospital system by intensifying prevention. “Go-to” initiatives targeting people isolated or far from the healthcare system, in particular seniors and people suffering from chronic pathologies, will also be implemented via a “vaccibus”.
In addition, the authorities point out that barrier gestures remain essential to slow the spread of the virus and indicate that children from 6 months of age can also benefit from the vaccine to avoid serious forms of the disease.
