The seniors of the Léo Lagrange club participated with great attention in the discovery and training of “Icope Monitor”. This small software, developed by the WHO, was installed on their smartphone which makes it possible to monitor their health and their aging. It was Frédérique Cotte, dietitian-nutritionist, who regularly speaks at the Léo Lagrange club as part of the “Nutri’Actif” project, who provided this training. The latter knows the club’s seniors well, and since these various interventions, relations have been very cordial and full of trust. Frédérique Cotte was herself trained by the Toulouse University Hospital gerontopole on this prevention tool. She came to the club premises free of charge for this training. There were 21 members who were able to analyze their abilities considered essential, taking into account mobility, memory, mood, vision, nutrition, and hearing. The trainer also provides individual monitoring. For 2025, other training will be put in place, concerning the health and aging of seniors. It is Martine who takes care, with a lot of investment and attention, of this section of the club.
