The town of Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur is organizing a conference on endometriosis with Doctors Laurence FILIPUZZI and Camille BOUIT, specialists in this disease at the Dijon-Bourgogne University Hospital on Wednesday December 4 at 6:30 p.m., Simone-Veil room at the Town Hall .
Endometriosis affects millions of women around the world, including nearly one in 10 French women, or nearly 2.5 million people. However, this disease which causes infertility and pain in women remains little known and underdiagnosed.
The City of Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur will receive two doctors, Dr. FILIPUZZI and Dr. BOUIT, gynecologists-obstetricians, to talk about this disease which prevents women from having children, to take stock of the state of the medical research but also give advice on detecting endometriosis and how to live better for those affected.
