Each school year sees its share of information sequences intended for students, particularly those in 5e. This was the case on Thursday November 21 where, under the aegis of Jean-Bernard Henrion, nurse at the Emilie-Carles college, three students from the Ifsi de Bar-le-Duc (Nursing Training Institute) led by their trainer , Emilie Ragot, spoke to talk about sleep, a theme studied in class. Thus, Léa Nolle, Lucil Gobeaux and Moryne Lahalle questioned adolescents about their sleep practices according to the three stages they observed. The first consisted of establishing the project and distributing a questionnaire to the middle school students one week before their intervention. Secondly, they invited the students to discover “the room of errors” in which a mannequin, made available by the JSP (Young Firefighters) section, was lying quietly. There were five errors to discover but also two good attitudes and the nurses did not fail to question the teenagers on the reasons for their answers. Finally, emphasis was placed on eating habits that promote good sleep. A video explained the different stages of sleep and the role of melatonin.
The informative session was closed with the presentation of small gifts; it will be the subject of a report to be presented by the student nurses.
