Weighed down by a recurring lack of available doctors, the Alès hospital center is calling on patients to avoid going to the emergency room between Monday November 25 and Tuesday November 26.

The announcement has been regularly reiterated by the Alès-Cévennes hospital center for several weeks. Still subject to a lack of available doctors, the hospital management informs that access to emergencies will once again be regulated at the beginning of next week.

Prioritize calling 15

The regulation will be in place from Monday, November 25, 5 p.m. to Tuesday, November 26, 6:30 a.m. During this evening and night, the hospital recommends that the population call the 15th before considering any trip to the emergency room in order to establish an initial diagnosis of their situation.

“The public who have not been subject to regulation presenting themselves to the emergency room will nevertheless be welcomed”specifies management once again. “It will be subject to on-site regulation with possible reorientation depending on its situation.”

Vital emergencies remain provided by the Alès Mobile Emergency Resuscitation Service (SMUR), operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week within the framework of regulation by Center 15. The hospital also specifies that reception pregnant women and management of gynecological emergencies remain available 24 hours a day.
