In a context where Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD) represent the leading cause of occupational illnesses in the Building sector, EHRET is fully committed today to the organization of the first edition of the “Building Industry Telethon” to support innovative research on muscle which is a real public health issue and the spearhead of therapeutic innovation.
Manufacturers, industrialists, distributors, service partners, training schools and even construction networks will meet in the evening on Thursday November 28, 2024, at the Emile Anthoine stadium, an exceptional venue located at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.
Objective: run and move for the benefit of the AFM-Téléthon and in particular its Institute of Myologya center of expertise dedicated to the science and medicine of muscle and its diseases.
The mobilization has not weakened in recent weeks to support this essential cause. With more than 20 participating companiesthe first edition of the Building Telethon is preparing to make an impression. The flagship event on November 28 will welcome nearly 500 participants including ten under the colors of EHRET, a figure which testifies to the enthusiasm and commitment of professionals from an entire sector.
To date, €100,000 has already been collected for the benefit of the Institute of Myology, a significant sum which demonstrates the involvement of the stakeholders mobilized.
The objective of this first edition was to bring together and unite construction companies around a common mission: to advance research into muscle diseases. Thanks to the commitment of participants and the support of partners, The Building Telethon is already an unmissable event.
