History of 70 years of evolution and revolution
“AI”: common abbreviation that every citizen of the world immediately understands today.
However, at the start of the 21st century, the notion of artificial intelligence was as distant as the smartphone was for most of us 30 years ago! It appears that Chat GPT may plagiarize research work and distort the content of doctoral theses. But most recently, we have discovered that AI can be a fantastic tool that improves the treatment of our patients and prevention.
The generations of specialists of today and tomorrow are actively involved in AI in the context of clinical applications and for training in technologies and knowledge. In this context, we have agreed with the GBSVBS to organize a scientific symposium dedicated to the uses of AI in specialized medicine, to celebrate the 70 years of existence of the GBS-VBS.
In the vision of the GBS, consultation between the different specialties is an inexhaustible source of mutual enrichment. Thus, the program offers various points of view, less to offer an overview of the current situation than to show the unlimited perspectives of the future based on the experiences of our specialists. The past and history nourish the future.
