Great start for our new CSR ambassadors!

As part of its Establishment Project (PE) 2023-2028, the University Hospital is committed to developing an inclusive environmental and social policy allowing everyone to be an actor of change.

Over the past two months, 54 new ambassadors have been trained internally to drive ambition and actively contribute to the ecological transition in health. During these meetings, participants were able to learn about the major axes and challenges of the CSR approach at Toulouse University Hospital, supplemented by feedback.

Highlight of these training courses: collaborative workshops using an appreciative approach [1] to prepare ambassadors to encourage the commitment and actions of their colleagues in their respective teams.

“What motivated me to become an ambassador is the deep conviction that each of us can have a positive impact on the environment, even on a small scale and for a university hospital. During the CSR ambassador training days, I had the opportunity to meet passionate professionals and share ideas with committed and inspiring people, which reinforced my desire to raise awareness and act for the planet in my CHU. » Gwenhaelle Meeschaert, nursing assistant in the functional rehabilitation department at the Children’s Hospital.

“Being an ambassador means embodying the CSR ambition of our establishment. It’s a chance to mobilize the collective’s strengths so that each hospital worker can, ideally, integrate eco-responsibility into their daily lives.” Stéphanie Barruel, assistant to the medical affairs department.

In 2025: a growing collective:

The year 2025 will mark the arrival of new ambassadors, further expanding the network of actors committed to ensuring that the CSR approach spreads throughout all the centers of activity of the Toulouse University Hospital.

A big thank you to our ambassadors for their commitment, their enthusiasm and their desire to act to significantly reduce the impact of our activities on the environment.
