Organized by the Everest media house, the Pointe-Noire town hall, the Ministry of Sports and the Congolese Athletics Federation, “Run in Pointe-Noire” aims to work for the well-being of its employees of the AGL group , including the Congolese population. “Congo Terminal’s commitment to our side has made it possible to offer the Congolese a moment of relaxation and cohesion in terms of health. I was impressed by the enthusiasm of the Africa Global Logistics (AGL) and Congo Terminal teams for sport and the fight against cancer”rejoiced Sébastien Bottari, general director of the Everest Media agency based in Geneva, Switzerland.

He underlined that the participation of more than 400 voluntarily registered employees constitutes a record for partner companies. “Within our subsidiaries, sport has always been a good lever for corporate culture and our social commitment. Both for the well-being it provides and for the barriers it breaks down”for his part indicated Anthony Samsun, general director of Congo Terminal.

For this first edition, the race was organized in three formats, namely 3 km for adolescents, 5 km for women and 10 km mixed. Courses certified by World Athletics and the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences. Congo Terminal, a subsidiary of AGL, is the exclusive operator of handling activities for container and ro-ro ships calling at the port of Pointe-Noire.
