Their motto: “Alone we go fast, together we go further”. The Timéodyssée association, based in Lessac, continues its mission: to raise public awareness of pediatric cancers, in particular infiltrative glioma of the brain stem, a disease which claimed the life of little Timéo Marchadier, who died in July 2021. He was 10 years old.
After a Lessac-Hendaye in 2021, Quimper-Lessac in 2022, Paris-Lessac in 2023, eight mountain bikers (1) took off, this Monday, May 6, for a new Timéodysée (the name of the event) from the children’s hospital in Toulouse.

The Lessac association first delivered travel cots, DVD players and DVDs to Maison McDonald and the children’s center of the Toulouse children’s hospital before setting off for six days of cycling. They are expected in Lessac this Saturday, May 11 with a challenge on the horizon: to collect one euro per kilometer traveled and per cyclist.
The money will be donated to medical research. Mountain bikers will stop at Belaye (46), Cenac-et-Saint Julien (24), Lévignac-de-Guyenne (47), La Roche (24) and Chazelles (16). Their journey can be followed on social networks (Facebook, Instagram of the Timéodysée association). A video and a photo report will be published every day by Tom Bregeon, the electric mountain bike photographer.
