Nearly €7,000

On the menu for this new solidarity march: two routes, one of 5 km, the other of 10 km, in order to offer alternatives for everyone. “People are really happy, but they are also surprised that it was initiated by women farmers. It’s a way of showing that we are capable of doing something other than looking after our cows, that we have an open mind and other interests.”says Nathalie Lepelletier.

She, who worked as a pharmacy assistant until 2004, feels the duty to “raise awareness about this subject. My friend Chantal Buon has this cancer. So of course it affects me”she adds.

The three previous editions raised €6,886 for the League Against Breast Cancer. “And 2024 will be the year of all records”hopes Hélène Pien, director of the FDSEA. Around a hundred people are expected.

It warms the heart to see that everyone is fully involved in the project.”
