Martin Landry returns to the Bic Club

Martin Landry will return to the Bic Club. The new management has just appointed him as a new professional for the 2025 season.

Former assistant at Bic, Mr. Landry announced his departure at the end of 2020 to join ex-professional, Michel Blier, at the Vallée du Richelieu Golf Club.

“It’s a big challenge, but a nice challenge. We have a very strong team. I will be responsible for the tee times who will be back in 2025, the entire golf side, the back of the shop and teaching. I also want to bring back custom pole fit. Coming home is also a big bonus for my family and me. I’m already excited for next year,” says Martin Landry, joined by Le Soir.ca.

His appointment comes a little over a month after the official signing of the sales contract between the chairman of the board of directors, Jacques Plante and the new owner Éric Fournier.

The latter will take possession of the assets on October 31. By then, the Golf Club will complete all operations for the 2024 season.

Last May, the owners of the Bic Golf Club voted 99%, during a special general meeting held at the University of Quebec in Rimouski, in favor of the sale of their shares to Éric Fournier, including investments and commitments of $3.2 million.
