Contrary to what we wrote on Sunday evening, Frenchman Paul Barjon will perform well in 2025 on the Korn Ferry Tour by virtue of his victory at the end of last year in the final of the PGA Tour promotion circuit.

When reading the results of PGA Tour QSchool Final Stagewhich was played from Thursday to Sunday in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, we thought that by finishing in 50th place and therefore beyond the 40 players following the six promoted on the PGA Tour, Paul Barjon would have to settle for a partial category on the Korn Ferry Tour.

This was without taking into account the exemption which the double winner on the KFT benefits from due to his victory at the Korn Ferry Tour Championship in Indiana last year, as the main interested party confirmed to us.

“Winning last year meant I was, no matter what, full-time exempt for next season, I went to the Cards just to try to get one of the five playing rights on the PGA Tour. The rest was of no use to me.” he explained to us.

Let’s hope he has a great 2025 season on the Korn Ferry Tour. Especially since it only offers 20 places on the PGA Tour starting this season. Previously, you had to finish in the top 30 of the rankings to reach the elite of the North American circuit.
