Beaten by his compatriot Angel Hidalgo at the Spanish Open, Jon Rahm advances two places in the world rankings on September 29, 2024. The Basque is thus in 13th place, just ahead of Keegan Bradley, the man who offered the victorious point to the US team in this 2024 Presidents Cup. 52nd in Madrid in the DP World Tour tournament where he defended his title, Matthieu Pavon (photo) remains firmly established in his 26th place in the world…

In addition to climbing directly to 8th place in the European Team Ranking for the next Ryder Cup scheduled for September 2025 Bethpage (New York), Jon Rahmbeaten in the play-off by Angel Hidalgo, also progressed in the world rankings. The former world No. 1 now occupies 13th place (+2). Tied for third at the same Spanish Open, Tommy Fleetwoodanother key element of the European Ryder Cup team, is knocking on the doors of the world top 10. The Englishman is 11th (+1).

No change is to be reported, however, within this top 10, still outrageously dominated by Scottie Scheffler in front Xander Schauffele et Rory McIlroy.

For his second tournament on the DP World Tour since the Genesis Scottish Open in mid-July, Matthew Pavon maintains its 26th place in the world, between the Americans Max Homa (25th) and Akshay Bathia (27th). The Frenchman is one of five French golfers at the start of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship (October 3-6).

Status quo also for Victor Perez et Romain Langasquethe two other French people present in the world top 100. Respectively 45th and 29th in the Spanish Open, they appear in 68th and 81st places in the world. 18th and best tricolor in Madrid (with Tom Vaillant), Julien Guerrier grabs 200th place (+8) ahead Ugo Coussaud220e (+3).
