Novak Djokovic in a league of his own

Jannik Sinner has become only the sixth player aged 23 or under to win 60 or more matches on the ATP Tour in consecutive seasons in the past two decades.

Born August 16, 2001, the Italian has joined the exclusive club of players to achieve the 60-match win milestone two years in a row with the Big Three of Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer also featuring on the list.

The six players are also Grand Slam champions and they have topped the ATP Rankings at some point in their careers.

The 6 men aged 23 or under to achieve 60+ ATP match wins in consecutive seasons:

1. Novak Djokovic – 2007-10

Novak Djokovic tops this list as he is the only man to do it four years in a row with the next best three consecutive years.

He first won 60 matches in a season in 2007 as he was 68–19 for the year as he appeared in seven finals and lifted two trophies.

The next year he won his maiden Grand Slam, the 2008 Australian Open title, and finished the year with a 64–17 record while in 2009 he was 78–19 and 61–18 in 2010.

Although he didn’t win any Grand Slams in 2009, the 78 match wins is his second best for a calendar year as it was only bettered by 2015 when he was 82–6.

Djokovic turned 24 in 2011, but he enjoyed a 60+ match win record for 10 years in a row with 2017 the first time he fell below that mark as he was 32–8.
