Note that the festival is also a festive moment out of the books. This Saturday, October 5 at 8:30 p.m. at the La Strada cinema, a Magyd Cherfi concert. He returns to Mouans-Sartoux with his show, Long-winded, in which he interweaves extracts from readings of his texts and songs written over the years. A concert anchored on the portrait of an Algerian mother who decides to live her life by detaching herself from the injunctions of the family, the neighborhood, society, the entire country, to achieve a late and salutary emancipation.
Magyd Cherfi will be accompanied by his accomplice Étienne Chouquet (musician, arranger, guitarist) and Samir Laroche (Piano) for this literary concert that is both poetic and political.
