A man was very seriously injured by gunfire this Sunday at around 7:30 am on Boulevard Jean-Pain in Grenoble in circumstances that the police are currently trying to determine. According to initial information gathered on the scene by Le Dauphiné Libéré, a Peugeot 2008 vehicle traveling towards Meylan was hit by a powerful Audi.
To the victims apparently trying to prevent the driver from fleeing
At the scene of the accident, an altercation occurred and a municipal official, apparently responsible for cleanliness, intervened. During the altercation, the driver of the Audi fired several shots in the direction of the municipal agent, the latter apparently trying to prevent him from fleeing. The employee was then hit twice in the chest. The victim, transported to the university hospital, is in life-threatening condition and the shooter is on the run.
