This is without a doubt the film of the week, in terms of media coverage and expectation on the part of spectators. Distributed in more than 200 theaters, A son image is the new feature film by Thierry de Peretti. Adapted from the novel by Jerome Ferrarihe returns, through the eyes of Antonia (Clara-Maria Laredo), a young photographer, to the major events in the political history of the island, from the eighties to the 2000s. This Wednesday, September 4, at the 2 p.m. screening, around twenty people came through the doors of the Le Régent cinema in Bastia to discover it.

“I have seen all of Thierry de Peretti’s films”

We would have preferred to see the preview but it was sold out, explain two friends sitting in the fifth row. NWe really enjoyed the novel. Apparently the adaptation is a bit different, we can’t wait to see what the director did with it.” Christine is equally impatient: “I have lived on the island for 12 years. I have seen all of Thierry de Peretti’s films. The subject interests me as much as that ofA Violent Life (one of his previous films, editor’s note) and, more generally, everything that talks about Corsica and its political history.”
