Brianna Vidé is a 24-year-old athlete who practices fencing and will participate in the Paralympic Games in Paris. Coming from a family where everyone practices fencing. Brianna has also dived. At first, she practiced among the able-bodied but her club foot caused her a lot of pain and she decided to turn to wheelchair fencing at the age of 13. Very good choice because the pain was no longer there and she gave herself body and soul to her passion. Today, 10 years later, Brianna has become one of the best French women in the discipline. At 24, here are some of her accomplishments:
- French Championships: 4 foil titles, 5 sabre titles and 1 épée title.
- European Championship: silver medal in Sabre.
- World Cup: silver medal in Sabre, 5 bronze medals in Épée and 3 in Sabre.
- U23 World Championship: bronze medal in Sabre.
- U17 World Championship: silver medal in Sabre.
After being one of the Olympic flame bearers in Muret, Brianna is aiming for gold in Paris.
