Since mid-April 2024, Samson Selle, a 34-year-old man and father, has not given any sign of life. His disappearance, which occurred during the night of April 15 to 16, has plunged his loved ones into anguish. The gendarmes, in charge of the investigation, are struggling to find clues to locate him.
Samson Selle was last seen around 12:30 a.m., on CCTV footage located near the Maison de la Mer and the port of Cavalaire-sur-Mer, after having crossed the town centre on foot on the night of 15 to 16 April 2024. Since that night, there has been no news from him: no bank transactions, no telephone signal.

An alert launched by his son
Samson’s 10-year-old son was home alone when his father disappeared. It was only four days later, with no news from his father, that the child raised the alarm, according to Franceinfo. Since then, the child has been entrusted to a family member in Ardèche, by court order.
A call for witnesses is still ongoing
The La Croix-Valmer gendarmerie launched an appeal for witnesses in April, which is still active to this day. Samson Selle is described as being 1.70m tall, weighing 95kg, of European type with dark brown hair. When he disappeared, he was wearing black trousers and a black jacket with white writing on his chest.
