YouTube, a popular video viewing platform in Russia, has pleased citizens with some good news. The platform has decided to make some changes to its work for the convenience of users. And this will be possible to use from tomorrow, PRIMPRESS reports.

As the developers explained, the video hosting service continues to operate in Russia with certain restrictions. The platform does not load at full speed on different devices. But this does not mean that the site is blocked or, even more so, is planning to leave our country. On the contrary, the company’s employees continue to improve its interface.

So, now the platform has decided to please all Russians with new pleasant functions. First of all, this concerns the ability to share a video with a friend or loved one. Now this can be done in a new way, using a QR code.

It is noted that to do this, you will need to go to the page of any channel, click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the mobile application and then select the appropriate button to share. And then you will need to select the QR code, and it will appear on the screen. You can immediately save it to the gallery and then send it to the person you want.

In addition, from now on, users will be able to lock the screen while watching a video so that it is not interrupted by accidental clicks, and also turn on the night timer, which will stop the video at the right time if the person has already fallen asleep. Russians will be able to use all these new functions in the near future, that is, from tomorrow.
