So what’s the story?

Born from the meeting between Julie Jones, curator at the National Museum of Modern Art, and Marin Karmitz, filmmaker and collector, the photography exhibition “Corps à corps” offered visitors to the Pompidou Center a private – public face to face until ‘then unpublished. Bringing together nearly 500 photographs, this unique event, offering an original look at photographic representations of the human race, captivated more than 300,000 visitors. In Remember the future!filmmaker Romain Goupil (Die at thirty) gives the floor in an inventive way to Julie Jones and Marin Karmitz who explain their approach with passion. The film draws an intimate portrait of Marin Karmitz through his choice of photographs and offers a contemporary reflection on the importance of memory and transmission.
