Australian pop star Kylie Minogue has announced a North American leg for her 16th headlining concert tour, “Tension Tour” — her first time touring the U.S. since 2011.
Following the Australian and Asian legs announced last month, the 16-date North American trek kicks off on March 29 in Toronto and includes a stop at New York City’s Madison Sqaure Garden on April 4 before wrapping up on May 2 in Los Angeles and heading to the U.K.
The tour is in support of Minogue’s 16th and 17th studio albums, “Tension” (2023) and the sequel “Tension II” (2024).
The latter will be released on October 18, 2024. Listen to the album’s hit lead single, “Lights Camera Action,” below:
Although Minogue recently wrapped her first-ever concert residency, “More Than Just a Residency,” at The Venetian Las Vegas earlier this year, the singer hasn’t toured the U.S. since the “Aphrodite: Les Folies Tour” 14 years ago.
“I can’t wait to share beautiful and wild moments with fans all over the world, celebrating the Tension era and more!,” Minogue said in a statement. “It’s been an exhilarating ride so far and now, get ready for your close up because I will be calling Lights, Camera, Action … and there will be a whole lot of Padaming!”
